The Ondo State Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) , Engr. Ade Adetimehin on Saturday mobilised executives of the party across the 18 local government areas of the state to the sensitization rally organised by Lagos State for the party’s Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Adetimehin, who monitored the party executives to the Teslim Balogun stadium at Surulere, Lagos stated that his state contingent would have been larger if it were the real campaign rally for the Jagaban of Borgu.

According to him, “We only mobilised the executives of our party at the local government level to go and represent Ondo State at the sensitization rally organised by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a preamble to our mega rally.

“By the time we are going to kick off our campaign across the nation, we shall all go out in full force to campaign ward to ward, house to house to enlighten the populace about the qualities and enviable track records  of our presidential candidate so that they can elect someone who can solve the nation’s problems.”

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had organised the sensitization rally ahead of the kick-off of the mega rally of the party in order arm members of the party with critical evidence of what to showcase to undecided voters about Tinubu.

Strong chieftains of the parry, including the 22 members of APC Governors’ Forum stormed the stadium filled to capacity to lend the voice to why Nigerians should elect Tinubu as the successor of President Muhammadu Buhari.

National Chairman of the party, Senator Abdulahi Adamu, Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker, House of Representatives, the party’s Campaign Director General, Governor La Long, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Babtunde Fashola, Lai Mohammed, Governor Dapo Abiodun, Governor El Rufai, Governor Bagudu Atiku, Governor Ganduje,  Senator Ibikunle Amosun, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and a host of others were present at the event.

In his address, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasised that Tinubu is the brain behind the meteoric development that is happening in Lagos.

He declared Tinubu as the best mam for the job of President.

The Lagos governor said Tinubu has the economic masterpiece to turn the nation’s economy round and has the penchant for assembling best brains in different fields to develop the nation.

“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has laid a solid foundation for Lagos and that’s what you’re still seeing happening in Lagos.

“He is the most most qualified among all the contestants. He has the qualities and charisma to turn round our economy. He had done in Lagos and youvcan all testify.

“We want Nigerians to elect him the next president of our nation so that we can benefit from his wealth of experience,” Sanwo-Olu said.

In his own address, Governor Ganduje called on Nigerians to elect Tinubu as the next president of the nation in 2023 because of overwhelming track records of good governance,

He said Tinubu had all the years prepared for the assignment to take the country to a higher ground.

Delivering President Muhammadu Buhari’s message, Ganduje said: “Lagosians, President Muhammadu Buhari sent his message to you that I should tell you to remain focus and give Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu more support than you gave him in 2015 and elect the next President of Nigeria.”
