
As part of efforts gearing towards making the Saturday election a huge success, the Commissioner of Police in Ondo state, CP Oyeyemi Oyediran has announced the deployment of 7000 personal to monitor the election across the eighteen local governments
The CP, while briefing Journalists on Tuesday in Akure the state capital with other security chiefs said the election will be hitch free and will be monitored by the security personnel in the state, including the men of the Nigerian army

However, the Controller of Immigration in the state , O.O Bosede said the men of her command recently retrieved four voters card from people who were not Nigerians.
Moreso, the administrative secretary of the Independent National Electoral Commission in the state, Mr Oyetola Oyelami said 17,572 adhoc staff will be used across the state for the election.
He also said further that, the commission is fully set in the usage of the electronic machines known as the BVAS.
