The All Progressives Congress APC leading aspirant, Chief Olusola Oke visited the leader of the Afenifere, Social Cultural organization, Chief Reuben Fasoneanti at his country home, in Akure, the Ondo State capital on Friday to brief him of his intention to run the position of governorship under the rulling party, APC.
Oke, who was received by the leader ,said he has a lot to offer the good people of the state if given the ticket of the party.
Oke after visiting Akure North, Ifedore and Akure South APC leaders in the state in a town hall meeting in preparation towards the party primary, explained to the leader of the Yoruba race that, he will make a change and return better life to the people.
He said a lot of moral decadence has taken over the state as a result of negligence by the leaders in the past which has affected us immensely but that he is ready to turn the table for good.
While responding, Pa Fasoneanti said he was impressed by the words of wisdom rendered by the aspirant, Chief Oke.
“am impressed by the words coming out of your mouth which showed that indeed ,you will do exceedingly well for the people”Fasonranti said.
The elder statesman later prayed for the aspirant and assured him of total victory in the primary of his party.
Oke, appreciated Pa Fasoneanti for his words of encouragement and pledged never to disappoint him if given the ticket
” I need to appreciate you baba for your words of encouragement and I promise you that, I will never disappoint you and our people if given the opportunity to lead the people of the state ” said Oke
