Since the emergence of Aiyedatiwa ‘s administration in December 2023 as substantive governor of Ondo state, after the demise of Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, the hope of women in the state has been raised taking to the fact that, their involvements and positive contributions would be felt either directly or indirectly.
Actually, the first nine Months in office of Dr Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, from December 2023 to November, 2024 before the gubernatorial election could be seeing as a way for the current administration to prepare actively for the challenges ahead in 2025.
During the said period, Women and People Living with Disability ( PWD) in the state and some other beneficiaries owning to the office of the first lady in the state, put their minds together that their hope in anal of things would be renewed and not be dashed
Then, Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa at her end too, has been busy arranging documents and strategizing how the hope of these good citizens of the state would and could be better as a mother of all, which of course, has now yielded a positive results.
Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa has travelled far and near ensuring the actualization of “OUR EASE” initiative of the governor for the women and the disabled in the state with full commencement anytime from now which will definitely bring back and douse the doubts of the less privileged in the state.
It Is a program (OUR EASE) initiated and designed by the governor in making infrastructure, health, Education available and affordable to the people of the state.
It is a known fact that, “OUR EASE ” initiative will bring succor not only to the women and the PWD, but also to the generality of the people of the state including children below 10 years of age.
It would be recalled that, some weeks ago, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu visited the state, which no fewer than 10,000 medical kits were distributed across the zone, which ondo state also benefitted.
At the event, a cheque of #50 million was released by the first lady of the federation and handed over to Mrs Aiyedatiwa for the market women, at least in supporting their businesses no matter how little.
All these initiatives of the first ladies are to make life better for the women, and the down trolling in the society with the aim of being reciprocated and executed in no distance time as everything is set for the plans, especially in Ondo state.
Recently, the first lady of the federation, Mrs Oluremi Tinubu visited Oyo State in company of Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa, to discuss the way forward for the women in South West with wives of governors across the zone including the host, Mrs Seyi Makinde.
There, all decisions and deliberations were sealed and concluded that life must be better for women and that, certain number of women, widows, disabled, vulnerable Children and host of others must be brought out poverty through the initiatives set aside by their husbands which ondo state is not left out of the “goodies” packaged by Her Excellency, Mrs Oluwaseun Aiyedatiwa.
Germane Reporters (GR )authoritatively gathered that, the office of the First Lady in the state is under renovations and will anytime from now be ready for use so as to actualize the set goals of “OUR EASE” initiative
It is believed that, better days are coming for women and Children in the state to actively participate in decision process and contribute to making the state better at all levels mostly in the whole local government areas of the state.
