Atunluse Social Political organization has called out the governor of ondo state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa to find a lasting solution to the lingering insecurity in the state.
The group, in a statement issued on Saturday in Akure, the state capital by its leader,Comrade Akin Akinbobola and made available to Journalists by its Publicity Secretary ,Hon Mrs Aregbesola, signed by the Director General, Ambassador Adetona read that the rate at which bandits and kidnappers are operating in the state gradually becoming alarming
The statement reads : we are becoming unsafe in the state as the bandits keep operating at will. It saddens our hearts that in less than 48 hours to when a traditional ruler in Agamo, Oba Kehinde Falodun was mercilessly killed in Akure North, two people were kidnapped at Eleyewo , one shot at the same Akure North.
However, Atunluse Socio- Political group is now urging Mr Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa to do everything possible within his power in arresting this situation before its too late.
According to the statement, it would be recalled that early in the year, 2026, bandits struck at Ilu Abo where people were kidnapped and someone was shot dead. Enough is Enough.
The people of Ondo state are therefore saying the needful has to be done, that we can not Continue living in fear in our own state.
