Many Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ward 10, Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State have strongly declared resisted what they described as injustice allegedly carried out by certain government appointees, officials over the manipulation done on the list of the ward executives
The irregularities and show of shame perpetrated by the enemies of the party,brought serious concern to all and sundry including the stakeholders expressed confidence that the alleged irregularities surrounding the Ward 10 executive structure would be corrected through the appropriate state party mechanisms.
The leaders maintained that any form of imposition of an executive list would be firmly resisted, emphasizing that all actions taken would strictly follow lawful and constitutional means within the party framework. They reiterated their commitment to justice, fairness, and internal democracy.
According to the statement, the group expressed unwavering belief in the leadership and structure of the party, noting that the APC system under Hon. Babatunde Amaechi remains one guided by established rules and respect for due process.
They further stressed that the authentic executive list of Ward 10 cannot be overridden or approved by the party’s national headquarters if it originates from questionable interference by unauthorized appointees, insisting that such actions contradict the principles of the party.
While calling for calm among party members, the Ward 10 leaders reaffirmed their determination to pursue justice through legitimate channels, expressing optimism that the party leadership at the state level will address the issue and uphold the integrity of the APC in Akure South.
