The Executive Chairman of Akure South Local Government, Hon. Dr. Fasua Gbenga Timothy, has approved the appointment of Hon. Prince Iteyemi Adegoroye as the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Akure South Local Government.
The appointment reflects the Chairman’s unwavering commitment to strengthening the administrative structure of the Local Government and ensuring efficient, transparent, and responsive governance for the people of Akure South.
Prior to this appointment, Hon. Prince Iteyemi Adegoroye served as the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman, where he distinguished himself through exceptional administrative competence, loyalty, and dedication to the successful implementation of the administration’s policies and programmes.
His appointment is a recognition of his proven leadership capacity, commitment to public service, and contributions to the growth and development of Akure South Local Government.
The Executive Chairman expressed confidence that the new Secretary to the Local Government will discharge the responsibilities of the office with integrity, diligence, and professionalism while working closely with the administration to advance its vision of sustainable development, good governance, and quality service delivery.
