Popular disc jockey, Florence Otedola aka DJ Cuppy, has stated how she got engaged to her man only 25 days after they met.
The entertainer on Twitter said she is officially engaged.
She said sometimes people fall in love at the most unexpected time and reason.
Recall that shortly after the announcement of their engagement, videos had surfaced the internet showing an affair between Ryan Taylor and a mystery woman on dates, and in the car.
In reaction to that, Cuppy had waved that off stating that she wasn’t looking for a perfect love story because it is cliche.
Many had also assumed that the relationship was before Cuppy and the mystery woman was trying to divert attention to her.
In Cuppy’s new post, she said, “I can officially announce that I’m engaged! Only 25 days ago during @Gumball3000 driving rally, I met the love of my life.
“Sometimes you fall for the MOST unexpected person at the MOST unexpected time and for the MOST unexpected reason.
“I love you deep @RyanTaylor.”
Netizens who were amazed by how fast Cuppy’s engagement news had surfaced considering how the disc jockey had always begged her fans jokingly for love, have reacted.
A controversy actor, Uche Maduagwu described Cuppy as desperate and someone who craves attention.
He said Cuppy needs to go for a church deliverance because it appears she is competing with her younger sister, Temi.
An excerpt of his post read, “You suppose go church Deliverance Ma, you accept Engagement ring in just 25 days, is this Desperation or competition with your Younger sister?… “
Another actress Chita Agwu confirmed how someone could get engaged in a short time and still maintain their relationship. She said she got engaged to her husband after four days.
