It Was like a drama in Akure, the Ondo state capital on Friday when one of the state Assembly member, representing Akure south Constituency 1, Hon. Simeon Borokini, was disgraced and molested by the people of his Constituency for non performance.

Borokini who went out to campaign at Idi agba tuntun in ward 5 area of the state capital could not believe the beating and the embarrassment meted on him and his campaign team.

An Eye witness,who told germanereporters said the vehicle that the serving honourable came with was seized and he was narrowly rescued by friends out of the area.

Borokini is the son of Akure Anglican Bishop seeking re election into the office.

    Akure will not tolerate fake and damaging reports on any indigene of Akure. Every report will be verified,and if found to be untruthful , there shall be legal action.
