The Ondo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) rejoices with the Muslims as they celebrate Eid-el-fitri.
The State Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, commends them for the sacrifices, and prayers for the State, and country during the fasting period, urging them to continue to pray for the unity, peace, and development of Nigeria.
The state chapter prays Allah to accept their fast and bless them the more. It views fasting as a spiritual exercise with unfathomable gains.
“The party deeply appreciates our Muslim brothers’ and sisters’ contributions and organization before, during, and after the last general elections. We urge you to support a peaceful and smooth transition in the political arena”, Adetimehin added.
The party chieftain contends that the prosperity of a country and it’s inhabitants are of paramount importance to various religions, and calls on every Nigerian, irrespective of religious inclinations, to put national interest above personal issues.
He further prays Allah to grant “our Muslim members and sympathisers” the privilege to celebrate many Eid-al-Fitri in good health.
