Alafia hall,, opposite signature club house Alagbaka was full to its beam on Saturday as family and friends gathered to celebrate and rejoice with an astute administrator , Prophet Akin Raphael Asaniyan as he retired from the service of ondo state as Permanent Secretary with ondo state water corporation under the Ministry of water Resources, public sanitation and hygiene.
Akin Asaniyan with other family members could not hold back their joy on the epoch making event which commemorated with his 60th birthday on earth as well.
The Chairman of the occasion , Barr Ajose Kudehinbu appreciated God for the life of the celebrant saying he has served the state with all his strength and vigour.
” I bless God for your life who has kept you till today “
” It is a rare oppourtunity that you started well, though might be rough along the line, and ended well ” Ajose said
The elder brother of the celebrant, who retired three years ago from public service was full of joy and appreciation to God who has kept the family and his brother in.particular till the present.
He further encouraged his younger brother that life is sweeter after retiring.
Moreso, the celebrant while appreciating God and those who came far and near in their large numbers to the occasion ,said he would forever be grateful to his wife ,Mrs Asaniyan ,who stood by him during thick and thin
“I give all glory to God in all ways over me and my family and as well appreciate my lovely wife for her perseverance “
“I also thank the government of ondo state who gave me the oppourtunity to serve including the staff of all ministries that i have served ” he said
The floor was tushed to an exciting moment with melodious tunes from Alafia musical group
Prophet Raphael Akin Asaniyan has served in various ministries and agencies like : Scholarship board , Ministry of Environment and host of others.
