Sodiq Oyedokun, a twenty one year old suspect who was paraded by the Amotekun corps in Akure, the Ondo state capital on Tuesday, confessed that, his traditional bullet proof that was inherited from his father failed him while perpetrating his evil act. Sodiq Ayodokun, was arrested at the Osun/Ondo boarder axis .
The commander of the Amotekun corps in the state,Adetunji Adeleye said that the modus oparandi of the criminals and snatchers have changed their tactics on motorcycles in the state where they pursue Motorcycle riders and hit them from behind so as to go away with the bikes.
Also burglars are not left behind in the act breaking into houses and take away belongings. Many items, refrigerator, Watching machine, Television set, car batteries, motor cycles and the rest were recovered from various locations in the state.
He also warned those running after cheap items to desist, that it could implicate them and such persons will be taken for applices.
However, no fewer than 19 of them are into robbery while 2 are into kidnapping
Olanusi Adurasanmi, Muhammed…, Adegbe Friday, sadiq Oyedokun and Gbenga Adewumi,all in their twenties were paraded and will be taken to court
He therefore said, all of them will be taken to the competent court of law for proper judgement
