Following the conferment of a doctorate degree in Public Administration (Honoris Causa) on the Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, by the management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), in recognition of his sterling leadership, the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Otunba Wale Akinlosotu has expressed congratulations to Mr. Governor on this new feat.
The message is contained in a special release personally signed and made public.
While particularly acknowledging that the doctorate degree is a testament to Governor Aiyedatiwa’s outstanding contributions to the development of Ondo State, particularly in governance, public administration, and human capital development, Otunba Akinlosotu said he is not surprised by the honour.
The statement further reads: ” I specially celebrate my leader and mentor who has consistently demonstrated what true leadership means. For many of us, we are not just celebrating the academic laurel, but the legacy Governor Aiyedatiwa will continue to build—one of integrity, hard work, and profound impact”
“I know for a certainty that this is just the beginning of new things to come as his exemplary leadership will continue to attract sustainable growth for the masses,” he added.
The recognition of Mr. Governor was a major highlight of the institution’s 13th Convocation Ceremony, held on Saturday at the university’s Olusegun Obasanjo multipurpose hall.
