A middle aged man,(45) popularly known as Sam was at the weekend found dead in his room at Commercial area of Oke Aro, Akure , the state capital
Sam , a Point Of Sales (POS ) operator and as well, commercial motorcyclist was noticed to have given up the ghost at the weekend when his neighbors discovered strange substance on the ground exactly like a vomits at his corridor at the early hour of Saturday.
One of the neighbors who spoke exclusively with GERMANE REPORTERS, explained that , Sam got in , into the compound around 9pm on Friday from his normal daily routine, went into his apartment but found dead the following morning.
According to the statement ” Sam was a good young man who had no flair for drinking, a devoted Christian,he came in to his apartment and he was heard praying in the middle of the night , all we could see was his lifeless body on the ground the following day”
” We even forced the door opened when we wanted to ask of the vomit we saw at his corridor , the neighbor said
Apprehension gripped the neighbors after calling his family members of the situation and was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre Owo, ,Akure Annex proved abortive as Doctor confirmed him dead .
” We all tried our efforts in the compound to rescue him back to life after discovering he was half life ,half dead proved abortive as we rushed him to the hospital but was later confirmed dead by the doctor “
However, Sam was said to be the bread – winner of his family though not married but carried a lot of burdens from home
The whole compound has been deserted as the neighbors did not know what could be the next line of action from the Police.
He hailed from Benue and was survived by aged father.
His remains has since been taken home for burial
