
It was a bitter narration at the Amotekun corps headquarters in Akure ,the Ondo State Capital as the corps apprehended some suspected kidnappers who kidnapped 18 passengers in a bus along Akure – Owo highway few weeks ago.
A 75- old woman ,Musirat who was a passenger in the bus narrated her ordeal after being rescued by the Amotekun corps officers in Ondo state.
According to her
” when we got to Owo axis along the road where there are bushes , we suddenly heard the burst sound of our tyre before we know it, they have broken the window glasses of the bus”
they marched us out of the bus , one malla (Fulani man) held my neck and dragged me from the road to the bush after like 20 mins of dragging ,he removed my clothes and rapped me” she narrated
The Amotekun corps commander in the state , Akogun Adetunji Adeleye said that the suspected criminals will be charged to court without any further delay immediately after investigation.
Some other suspects they were paraded included those dealing with stealing of cables , and other house burglers
