The governor of Ondo state,Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa will on June 12, make a significant pronouncement in constituting his cabinet members so as to seal up the vacuum and fix in Commissioners into many of the Ministries that have been without administrative heads .

An insider into the government told Germane Reporters (GR) that surprises will spring as many of the Politicians ,who have been lobbying the governor through all means will be shocked and disappointed, while some will have a shout of joy

In a state wide address made on Thursday by the governor, being first of it’s kind since he assumed office, tagged ” Ask The Governor” said he would make public his New Commissioners that will work with him for the smooth running of the state.

It was reliably gathered by GR that, June 12,2025 has been fixed for the announcement and all “would -be” cabinet members have been running from pillar to pole seeing that their names are eventually announced

It would be recalled that some of the Special Assistants (S.As) and Special Advisers (S.As) and other political appointees were sacked and relieved of their positions immediately after November 16th , governorship election in 2024.

Moreso, the governor has determined to re-appoint some of the sacked S.As and SSAs which include Ewatomilola Emiola Kikelomo Isijola and also few of the serving SAs will be upgraded and serve in bigger capacity while some may be dropped

Additionally , Hon Femi Fadairo popularly known as “FADA” will also make the Commissionership list as Commissioner for Youths and Sports .

Also, Mrs Seun Osamaye, the Special Adviser to Mr governor on Women Affairs MAY not likely be picked as the Commissioner for Women Affairs due to some obvious reasons best known to Mr governor.

Engr Olaoye ,the Special Adviser to Mr governor on Infrastructure will eat from the table as the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure in the state.

However, the people of the state have shown their displeasure over the governor’s insensitivity to the need to have a full fledged cabinet on board so as to put things in order rather than foot-dragging policies in place.

While asking questions from the people on some of Mr activities so far, some said ,kudos should be given to him on intra -city roads in the state capital while some said he has not done to the expectations of the people in the area of Education and Health.

On Education, it is said that, 2000, teachers are not enough to handle the vacant spaces in all the schools in the state since teachers retire everyday in the state .
