The Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) has announced a fresh wave of strategic appointments ahead of the official inauguration and opening of its state secretariat in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
In the latest appointments, Chief Olayato Aribo, the Chief Executive Officer of Oyato Bread and a two-time Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, has been appointed as the Senatorial Coordinator for Ondo North.
For the Central Senatorial District, GMT appointed Deaconess Hon. (Mrs.) Lola Fagbemi as the Coordinator. Fagbemi is a former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Commerce and Industry, Physical Planning, and the immediate past Commissioner for Women Affairs.
Hon. Albert Akintoye (SOT), Former Council Chairman, ex-House of Representatives member, and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, has been named the Senatorial Coordinator for the Southern Senatorial District.

- Chief Bisi Ogungbemi – Former Chairman of Akoko North East, ex-Chairman of the Ondo State Advertisement and Signage Agency, and former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor
- Comrade Pafff Lawal Kolade – APC South West Youth Leader
- Dr. (Mrs.) Olubunmi Ademosu – Former Special Adviser to the Governor on Intergovernmental Affairs and Multilateral Agencies
- Hon. Yemi Olowolabi – Former Commissioner for Information and ex-Commissioner for Culture and Tourism
- Hon. Olatunji Ifabiyi – Member, Ondo State House of Assembly representing Okitipupa Constituency II
- Dr. (Mrs.) Morinola Olanipekun – Former Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on MDGs
- Hon. (Mrs.) Yetunde Adeyanju – Former Chairman of the Waste Management Authority and former Commissioner for Water Resources
- Hon. Oluborode Olakunle
- Hon. Olamide Falana – Former Special Adviser on Gender to the Governor

The state officers will be assigned positions after their inauguration.
The GMT had earlier appointed Hon. Saka Yusuf-Ogunleye as Director-General, Hon. Rasheed Badmus as Secretary and Hon. Akinwumi Sowore as Legal Adviser of the state chapter.
Additional state appointments will be announced prior to the formal inauguration of the movement’s secretariat located along Oyemekun Road, Akure.
Congratulations to all the new appointees. It is hoped that the strengthened grassroots structure will further consolidate support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration across Ondo State.
