The Independent National Electoral Commission has embarked on the display of voters register across the 18 local governments ares of the state. The display was done at the INEC designated wards in local government area offices across the state.
Eligible voters across the state have been urged by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Ambassador Rufus Oloruntoyin Akeju to check their names and other details in the designated centres.
Ambassador Oloruntoyin Akeju in a message through the HOD, Voter Education, Publicity, Gender and Civil Society Organisation, Mrs Olufunmike Segun-Osifeso said the display became imperative to give room for necessary corrections in details of registered voters ahead of the 2023 general elections.
In some of the wards visited in Owo, Ondo East and Ese-Odo local government areas, eligible voters were seen checking their details.
The nationwide display is between November 12th to November 25th.
