… Police takes over Complex

workers vacate offices for safety

Ekiti State House of Assembly has been shut over rumour of planned invasion by some people who are working in favour of the immediate past governor, Kayode Fayemi.

Our correspondent who visited the premises of the Assembly reports that police officers were at strategic locations in the House to prevent breaking down of laws and order.

Workers of the Assembly were also sighted trooping out of their offices to their respective homes.

It was learnt that Hon Gboyega Aribisogan, who just emerged as the speaker, was said to be from.the other camp not loyal to the immediate past governor.

It would be recalled that chief Gboyega Aribisogan was elected as the new speaker of the assembly recently after defeated Mrs Olubunmi Adelugba from Emure Ekiti.
