Abductors of Oloso of Oso-ajowa Akoko in Ondo state, Oba Jimoh Omoola are demanding N100M naira ransom before he can be set free.
His abductors made the demand when they contacted his family.
The traditional ruler was kidnapped from his palace on Thursday amid sporadic shooting by the gunmen.
It was gathered that the kidnappers later contacted the monarch’s family and requested for a sum of N100M before he could be released.
Local vigilante groups have continued to comb forests in the town and its neighbouring communities in a bid to rescue the traditional ruler.
Meanwhile, residents of Oso-ajowa have started fervent fasting and prayers to ensure the safe return of Oba Omoola while the town remains in pensive mood
