Ibadan broadcaster, Yemi Sonde, has cried out following a blackmailer who has continually threatened to leak his nude videos.
The owner of YES FM, in a statement released on Tuesday, said he has sent some money to the blackmailer who claimed to be a citizen of Cote d’Ivoire.
According to him, the blackmailer equally sent the video to some of his colleagues to encourage him to heed to his beck and call.
Sonde stated that the blackmailer has a video of himself alone in a hotel room and has since been threatening to release it. He said he has told the blackmailer to go ahead.
He said he is fully aware this was orchestrated by some high net-worth individuals.
The statement read, “I am issuing this release to let Nigerians know that some powerful individuals who are bent on destroying me have orchestrated this blackmail. I don’t know what I did to necessitate this but I know that they will fail.
“I suspect some high net-worth individuals in society who got the blackmailer to go after me, having hitherto sworn to take me down.”
