Two members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Izzi Local Government Area (LGA) of Ebonyi State were killed by gunmen on Friday evening.
The assailants on motorcycles reportedly stormed the venue of the APC meeting and gunned down the party members and zoomed off immediately.
Apart from the two fatalities, two other persons sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at the Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, Abakaliki, the state capital.
