The federal housing estate zone 5 shagari village, Akure on Saturday inaugurated the newly elected executive members to paddle the canoe of the community for the next three years.
The carnival – like event was graced and well attended by the people within and outside the zone.
Speaking at the colourful event, the All Progressives Congress APC candidate in the forthcoming House Of Assembly election representing Akilure south Constituency 2, Barr Oluwarotimi Abitogun who was at the event, as special guest ,congratulated the newly elected executive members and urged them to be steadfast in moving the community forward .
Also ,the senior aide to the Senate President, Hon Dennis Oluwafemi Fadairo FADA , who was also at the occasion advised the executives to give their best so as to leave a lasting legacy that could be regarded as best even when they are no longer a member of the executive.
While delivering his speech , the new Chairman of the zone, pastor Olusegun Kolawole thanked all and sundry for their supports and promised to work hand in hand with other members of the executive to live up to the expectation.
The newly elected members of executive were sworn in into their offices by the Estate legal adviser Barr Prince L. Akintokun ESQ.
