
Ahead of Saturday’s election, the Independent Electoral Commission in Ondo State has again assured of its readiness by commencing the distribution of sensitive materials to the 18 local governments.
The administrative secretary of the Commission in the state, Mr. Oyekola Oyelami who showed stakeholders and security agencies round the materials at the Central Bank of Nigeria Akure, said the Commission would be fair to all political parties.

The desire of the Nigerians and people of Ondo state to choose their next president and representatives at the national assembly is about to materialise has INEC has begun distribution of materials for the poll.

The adminsitrative Secretary of INEC in the State, Oyekola Oyelami with other top officials of the Commission said the Commission is not partisan and would be fair to all.
He said necessary arrangements had been made to ensure that the materials were dispatched to the 18 local governments safely.
The state chairman, Inter-Party Advisory Council and chairman, Action peoples party, Adefaya Olaoluwa, APC state organising secretay, Charles Fagbounka, among other party representatives expressed satisfaction with the process, saying they are optimistic that the exercise will be free, fair and credible.

The State commissioner of Police, Oyeyemi Oyediran who assured residents of a peaceful election said the command is working with other security agencies in the regrd and appealed to all politicians to play the game according to the rules.
It is hoped that the people will be orderly before, during and after the exercise as they vote their choice of president and candiatates for effective representation at the national level on Saturday.
