The Inter – party Advisory Council IPAC ondo state chapter has vowed never to participate in the proposed local government election including the process of the electioneering.
The council, IPAC which is the umbrella body of all registered political parties in the state said that the primaries slated for April 10, 2023, will also be neglected.
The state chairman of the council, Prince Olaoluwa Adesanya in a statement, made available to our reporter on Thursday , signed by the state secretary, Comrade Fred Akinuli with other executive members unanimously said that the decision was borne out of the outright neglect accorded the Union by the state government.
The union therefore agreed after their emergency meeting held in Akure, the ondo state capital, that the local government election and all the processes involve, and all other elections thereafter , shall be boycotted.
The statement read that the Union should be given it rightful place in the scheme of things in the state if the needful is expected from the body.
IPAC is a that regulates , advises and monitors all activities of political parties and also form part of the government.
