The Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in ondo state ,Chief Olusola Alexander Oke has rejoiced with the workers of the state as they mark this year’s MAY DAY.
Oke, while congratulating workers said the success or otherwise of the policy implementation of any nation depends largely on its workforce.
He advised workers to see themselves as stakeholders in the project of rebuilding our nation for growth and development.
“Today, I join millions of other great Nigerians , rejoicing with the workers across the country , most especially our own dear workers in Ondo state as they mark this year’s MAY DAY”
“Nigerian workers have checkered history marked by various great events that have shown their importance in the public policy implementation and overall development of critical sectors of our economy”
“To build a great nation, the place of great workforce is of essence”
According to him ” It is necessary therefore to continue to hope, that as stakeholders in the project Nigeria, workers will continue to contribute their bits to developing a healthy system for growth and development of the system for the good & better of all.
“Let me also join other well meaning citizens of Ondo state to appreciate our workers both at the private and public sectors for their efforts in moving the state forward.
Oke said further that the peaceful government and workers relationship devoid of strike actions and delivery of quality Infrastructural projects across the state lend credence to the effort and desire of the entire Ondo workforce to foster development and growth in our dear state.
He therefore urged them to be strong and as well endeavour to renew their hopes for a better Nigeria.
” I will then use this medium to appeal to our workers across boards to be strong and be hopeful for a better Nigeria” Oke said
