No fewer than four persons from ondo state are jostling for the Ministerial slot under the new administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that will be sworn -in on May 29, 2023.
It was reliably gathered by Germane-Reporters that two of them are from Akoko, the Northern Senatorial district of the state while one comes from the central and the other is from the Southern Senatorial district.
However, Prof Senator Ajayi Borroffice, former senator in the 7th & 8th Assembly is one of those jostling for the position.
Prof Borroffice hails from Oka, in Akoko South West area of the state. He was a 2 -term senator and a friend of the president -elect.
Also ,Chief Segun Abraham hails from Ikare Akoko, in Akoko North East area of the state. He has been a long time family friend of the president elect even when the roads were rough for Tinubu.
He was a governorship aspirant under the defunct ACN in the state before it later metamorphosed to the present APC , the ruling party.
Prince Ademola Adegoroye, the current Minister of state for transportation under the out going administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.
Prince Ademola Adegoroye hails from Akure South Local Government and he is the preferred candidate of the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu.
The last man on the jostling list is Dr Paul Akintelure, who is the personal physician of the President -elect at the moment.
Dr Paul Akintelure hails from Igbotako, in Okitipupa Local Government of the state.
The four gentle men are well known materials to the President elect in all ramifications.
The first two and Dr Paul Akintelure are close allies of Bola Ahmed Tinubu while, Prince Ademola Adegoroye is the choice of the governor .
It is a known fact that ,Arakunrin Rorimi Akeredolu played a vital role towards the success of the election that ushered Bola Ahmed Tinubu in as the elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Sooner than expected, the preferred and anointed” son” shall be announced.
