Saturday, May 6, was the day the young and talented Journalist, David Fidelis will forever be remembering to celebrate, marking the moment the knot was tied between him and his beautiful damsel,Regina.
The occassion was garnished with glamour as all Journalists in the state made their ways to the venue ,NUJ press centre.
However, two things were significant on tje fateful day.
One – so far in the history of the press centre, no party or occassion has ever occupied the two main event halls of the centre.
The main event hall of about 750 capacity was full to its beam despite re adjusting the sitting pattern. The other hall also was just too crying for relief as it could not accommodate even a baby at that time.
Two – coming to the centre on that fateful day for the first time by any visitor, he or she would want to ask if the bridegroom is or was a commercial motorcyclist.

No fewer than seven different people were asking if David was once an Okada man as the whole premises was full of different brands and maker of motor cycle.

However, it later beckoned on me that, David Fidelis is a grassroot and good jolly fellow of his town-people from Kogi state.
He is a friend to all and sundry and ever ready to move for anybody’s sake.
Above all, the event was colourful and graced by many people both within and outside the state.
