The state Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, kwara state Command, Commandant Muhammed Tukur Ibrahim commissioned the newly built Divisional office at Araromi, Isolo Opin in Ekiti local government of Kwara state.The building and a Patrol van was donated to the Corps by Isolo-opin community. While presenting the office, the traditional ruler of the Community, His Royal Highness, Oba Raphael Sunday Are(Asolo of Isolo) commended the officers and men of the corps working in Division. He said, the community deemed it fit to provide an enabling environment for the officers so as to enhance their performance. He commended their efforts towards fighting banditry, Kidnappings and Armed robbery in the community. He urged them to build on their existing gallantry dispositions against crimes and criminality in the community. He urged the Corps to furnish the Division with the necessary Arms and ammunition so as to empower the officers towards fighting crimes in the community. He promised an unwavering support and cooperation.
In his response, the state Commandant, Muhammed Tukur Ibrahim appreciate the community on behalf of the Corps and the Commandant General, Dr Abubakar Ahmed Audi, mni, PhD, OFR. He assured the community of a continuous and better services from the corps. He pleaded for more support in the area of intelligence information that can help the officers in discharging their duties appropriately.
