The Former Commissioner for Women affairs and Social Development in Ondo, Hon (Princess) Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole has admonished Muslim faithful to use the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir to re-establish pillars of love and tolerance among neighbours.
Hon Omowunmi gave the advice through a press statement she personally signed and made available to the news men, saying the celebration of the Eid-el-kabir prayers should center on the re-establishment of the pillars of love, peace and tolerance for which Islam is known for.
The Akure Princess while congratulating Muslims called for love just as she commended religious leaders for ensuring peaceful co- existence throughout the country.
She also used the occasion to admonish Muslims to re-dedicate themselves to a life of sacrifice and giving which is one of the hallmark of their faith.
Signed: Hon. (Princess) Omowunmi Olatunji-Ohwovoriole.
