Nollywood actor, Yemi Ayebo, popularly known as Yemi My Lover, has called gospel singer, Tope Alabi out for allegedly neglecting him at the time of need.
In a viral video displayed by blogger, Temilola Sobola, the actor said Tope was his apprentice in the acting industry and when she became successful, she shunned him.
Yemi My Lover said he had submitted a letter to Tope’s office last year to inform her of his birthday and in request for help concerning the birthday but the gospel artiste had ignored that.
According to him, the “Angeli Mi” crooner did not wish him a happy birthday nor send any gift.
The blogger’s caption read, “Tope Alabi was my apprentice in the movie industry in the 90s. Now that she has made it, I can’t remember any help she ever rendered to me.
“She doesn’t even pick up my calls. Last year when I wanted to celebrate my birthday, I personally took the invitation letter to her office but she neither came note send any gift to me.
“She didn’t even wish me a happy birthday but I am not mad, that is her way of life. Some of these gospel singers have worse character than regular people.”
