The House of Assembly member representing Idanre local government, Hon Princess Tosin Ogunlowo has encouraged the new defectors from the People’s Democratic Party PDP to the rulling All Progressives Congress to feel at home.
Princess Ogunlowo said that the defectors will surely be accorded the benefits they deserve anytime any day.
“I want to sincerely welcome our brothers and sisters who have taken their decisions to follow and join the APC”
Today, they have taken the right steps and they will never regret doing so anytime anyday “
The carnival -like event was graced with glamour as all the leaders in the opposition People’s Democratic Party PDP moved enmass with their supporters to the All Progressives Congress APC on Friday at Idanre.
However , the state chairman of the party, Engr Ade Adetimehin aplauded the defectors for the boldness taken in following and believing in the winning party.
Aside from the APC state chairman, other leaders who graced the carnival-liked event are the speaker of the state House Of Assembly, Rt Hon. Oladimeji, Hon. Princess Tosin Ogunlowo, member representing Idanre LG at the House of Assembly, Hon. Sunday Akinwalere, Commissioner for Environment, Hon. Saka Yusuf Ogunleye, the former commissioner for works, Hon. Gbenga Adeniyi, Akure South Council Chairman, Kolawole Babatunde aka Amechi, the Special Adviser on Rural Development to Gov Akeredolu and host of other dignitaries and chieftains of the APC in Ondo State.
