The nomination of Ayodele Olawande as Minister of State for Youth Affairs, by the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, came to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State as a pleasant surprise.
It is an affirmation of our national leader’s respect for party structure, which we will never take for granted.
This is the first time a member of the State Executive Committee of APC in our state will be so elevated. Until his appointment, Mr. Ayodele Olawande was the State Youth Leader of our chapter.
On behalf of the the State Executive Committee, and indeed, the entire party structures in the Sunshine State, I thank Mr. President for this rare privilege, and congratulate the ministerial nominee.
He has contributed so much to the development of the youths, since he became their representative on the State Working Committee.
We have no doubts that Mr. Olawande is fully equipped for the national task, and will prove himself a good ambassador of Ondo State.
