The cabinet members of the Ondo State government may experience surprises anytime this week as the governor determines changing those seem loyal to the deputy governor.

It would be recalled that the state has been witnessing “political drama ” since the arrival of the governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Odunayo Akeredolu SAN from his medical leave in Germany about two and half weeks ago. when he sacked the media aides to his deputy.

However , before the arrival of the governor, a member of the state House Of Assembly, travelled to inform the governor over what some cabals in the cabinet were planning to do which prompted the unscheduled arrival of His Excellency.

Moreover , an insider in the cabinet informed germanereporters (GR) that the rift between the governor and the deputy governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa thickens as a result of the information at the governor’s disposal over the utterances recorded and credited to the deputy governor over his boss, Rotimi Akeredolu.

A top cabinet member who also hails from the same town with the governor, may as well be affected in the shake -up base on his role while their principal (governor) was away for over four months.

The House Of Assembly members in the state have also drawn a battle line with the deputy governor over his impeachment process saying he will be removed.

According to the live interview conducted on the chairman, committee on Information, Temitope Osati, on a national television, bluntly said that, effort of the Assembly is targeted at making Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa an ex deputy governor.

Meanwhile , government apparatus have been deployed to radio stations across the state to change the mindset of the people that saying they only try to call him for questioning over the allegation of gross misconduct levied against him.

Indication from an insider of the government informed our media expert that, names have been penciled from the same senatorial district of the deputy governor for his replacement immediately the deed is done.

To a large extent, the people of the state are not in tandem with the action of the state governor so far, most especially, his refusal to address them since his sudden arrival from Germany to Ibadan.

Feelers across radio stations and other media organizations in the state, indicated that the governor abandoned the people of the state and stay back in Ibadan for well over two weeks not minding the love and care showered on him. while away during the medical sourjourn in Germany.

The drama is everyday becoming interesting in the state as the governorship election keep drawing closer.
