…Amotekun parades suspect
Cross section of suspected criminals were on Monday paraded by the ondo state security network code named Amotekun in Akure, the state capital
Some of the suspects were caught at different locations in the state ranging from Kidnapping ,Burglary to baby selling.
The commander of the corps , Ade Adeleye thereby assured members of the public to be vigilant and report any suspected movement around them to the security agencies and follow the slogan ” see something ,say something”
Adeleye said further that , 33 suspects were apprehended, saying that all the security agencies in the state have agree to embark on “ember months patrol “during this festive season to forestall all forms of criminalities
One of the suspects , who was arrested by the corps Owolade Kamorudeen 35 ,who ,just finished his jail term on 28th September ,2023 ago ,for stealing Iron rods in Akure,and also specialize in Okada snatching ,still went ahead to stab another Okada man to snatch his bike, by hitting the bike man with knife at his jaw repeatedly before beeing arrested again.
Also six kidnapoers were arrested within Akure metropolis ,who were soecializing in kidnapping the inmocent citizens and as well disposed them of their belongings.
However , the commander assured the peope of the state ,their readiness to tackle the activities of the men of the underworld.
