It was a thug of war on Wednesday in Akure, the Ondo State capital as thugs and supporters of the governor, freely destroyed by Bill boards erected by other aspirants .
However, the bill boards which were erected directly opposite the Airports having the image of Barr Jimoh Ibrahim, Chief Olusola Oke, Hon Jimi Odimayo and one Ohunrere were all touched by the supporters chanting various war songs.
Our reporter (germanereporters) who was at the scene reporters that, a police officer who was taking the video of the thugs was almost descended on by the angry supporters of not for the quick intervention of other security men on ground.
When asked stylishly by our reporter on why it was so, one of the supporters said they wanted the president know that others are not popular but that people of the state love AIYEDATIWA than others.
The show of shame also continued at Ijapo axis close to Pa fasoranti’s house, the afenifere leader, when the caps of other aspirants were forcefully removed from people and destroyed until the men of the police dispatched them with tear- gas
one of the aspirants, Wale Akinterinwa was also denied to enter the arrival launched of the airport in welcoming the president. When asked by the immediate past finance commissioner, the security men said the governor only submitted 10names for them which Olusola Oke and Jimoh Ibrahim were not also in the list but got to the airport early enough to see and welcome the president which same fate done on the executive director of the NDDC representing the state
It is seeing that the supporters of the governor are taking the game too far as said by one of the party members who do not want his name mentioned
