The gubernatorial aspirant of APC, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, has admonished his coordinators and Olusola Oke Campaign Vanguard to shun any act of violence in the coming primary election of the party.
Oke said this while responding to the concern expressed by many of his supporters who complained that some thugs who wore the caps and vests of Governor Ayedatiwa disrupted their peaceful assemblage the day President Tinubu visited Ondo state.
Speaking at the programme, Hon Yinka Akosile said the leaders of the party in Abuja must be prevailed upon to call the governor of Ondo state to order. He said the governor should not allow the peace in the state to be distrupted.
Oke, in his reply, said the issue has been reported to the appropriate quarters and that such an ugly incident will not repeat itself.
“We have reported to the appropriate quarters. Such will not repeat itself. We are members of the same family, what we want to do is Primary election. We can’t afford to do anything that will affect the unity of the party”, Oke said.
