
..I will bring governance to the grassroots
Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and forefront gubernatorial aspirant in Ondo State, Chief Olusola Oke, SAN, has informed the people of Ondo State that the lost glory of helping the people from grassroots will be restored , if elected.
Chief Oke made the remark, Thursday, during his inaugural interaction with leaders and members of the party in Akoko North-West, held at Shekoni Memorial Events Centre Oke-Agbe, as part of mobilisation toward the party’s primary election.
In his words: “Ondo State was better off during Agagu era when party members were awarded contracts and taken care of, same will come to bear if allowed to fly the party flag.
The people of the state will no longer witness poverty and all community roads will be given adequate attention.
Oke, who promised to revive agriculture, build rural roads, provide resources for mechanised farming and assured the people of his plan to revolutionise farming, promised to emplace great legacies in the State, saying: “You can trust that I will to serve you committedly.”
Earlier, APC chairman for Akoko North-West, Kehinde Obanla, said Oke has paid his dues in politics and implored party members and executives to support him so that he can win the party’s ticket and the November inter-party gubernatorial election
