
The Minister Of Interior, Hon.Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo led top management of the Ministry as well as heads of agencies including the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), National Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and the Nigeria Immigration Service, to the National Fire Academy, Sheda in Abuja, for the groundbreaking ceremony for the remodelling and upgrading of the facility.
This is one step towards our ambition to revolutionize the Federal Fire Service, putting in concerted efforts to see to the repeal of the Fire Service Act of 1963, and the enactment of a Fire and Rescue Service Act that addresses the challenges of our contemporary world.
With the support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), we are building a legacy where our Fire Service can thrive as a regulator, operator and enumerator where the private sector can play an active role in driving innovation, job creation, and excellence in the industry.
