Mr. Gabriel Olajide Owoyemi, an elder and indigene of Ifedore Local Government has applauded the NNPP for nominating Dr. (Barr.)Rotimi Emmanuel Adeyemi, a retired Local Government of Environment Services and an indigene of Akure in Akure South Local Government Area of the state as the New Nigeria People’s Party Deputy Governorship candidate.
He described the decision of the NNPP in the choice of Dr. (Barr.)Rotimi Emmanuel Adeyemi, an indigene of Akure speaking area a Deputy Governor nominee as a good turn that will be rewarded with votes in the other.
Following the release of the final list of the Governorship nominees and their deputies in the accredited 17 political parties that will participate in the November 16th 2024 election by INEC, it is only the New Nigeria People’s party that featured an indigene of Akure speaking areas of Akure North, Akure South and Ifedore as Deputy Governor.
He concluded it is only apposite that the good people of Akure speaking area will not forsake their own.

A prominent Akure leader and Prince of Igushin in Akure North Local Government area Prince (Comrade) Sunday Temitope Akintide-Gbangba, has commended the NNPP on the choice of Dr. (Barr.) Rotimi Emmanuel Adeyemi as Deputy Governorship candidate of the party.
He noted that it is only the NNPP of all the political parties in the State that has chosen an indigene of Akure as Deputy Governorship candidate from the Akure speaking areas of the State.
He opined that NNPP has chosen a WORTHY, TESTED, TRUSTED, REFINED AND RELIABLE COMRADE AND LEADER OF NO MEAN REPUTE in person of Dr. (Barr.) Rotimi Emmanuel Adeyemi. He therefore prayed for the success of the NNPP deputy governorship candidate and implored people to vote for him en masse.

He noted that it is an oversight for all other parties to have neglected the choice of making an indigene of Akure speaking area their Deputy Governorship candidate.

Egbe Omo Oke Aro, a social-philanthropist group in the Akure South Local Government area, has commended the NNPP on her choice of making Dr. (Barr.)Rotimi Emmanuel Adeyemi, the running mate to the party Governorship candidate Hon. (Barr.) Gbenga Omogbemi Edema.
In a release by the Vice President of the group, Barrister Abayomi Ojo, he praised the NNPP on the choice of Dr. (Barr.)Rotimi Emmanuel Adeyemi, as the party Deputy Governor nominee, saying it is a right decision and the placing of a square peg in a square hole.
He noted with pains that all other political parties neglected picking an indigene of Akure speaking area for the Deputy Governor’s slot, save for the NNPP.
He boldly said that the voting population of the people of Akure speaking areas are such that could not be toyed with and these shall be delivered to their son Dr. (Barr.)Rotimi Emmanuel Adeyemi at the election.
