It was a carnival -like event on Tuesday as members of women Mobilization Committee of Owo local government area of the state mobilized in their large numbers to support Lucky Aiyedatiwa/ Adelami for governor 2024.
The women who could not hide their joy supporting campaigning and Mobilizing women across all units and wards in the local government acknowledged that, the governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa will surely take the state to the promise land.
The committee which was inaugurated and headed by Mrs Funke Akeredolu Aruna , with the aim of winning the local government for the governor.
The Chairman , in her speech , urged women to come out massively before and during the election on 16th November, 2024 to support the governor so as.to continue with the good works
The inauguration was graced by female politicians and market women from all crannies of the local government
Mrs Funke Akeredolu Aruna , assured all the women that, their interest will be protected if Aiyedatiwa emerges as the next governor of the state.
” We have seen the work of good leadership and sportsmanship in his style ,he deserves our votes ,Aruna said
” It is a known fact that our interests and the interest of our children will be protected if Aiyedatiwa is given the opportunity to lead us as governor of the state’
Meanwhile,all female political appointees from the local government were in attendance during the inauguration.
