
No fewer than thirty- two persons were arrested on Tuesday in connection with the communal clash at Iwaro- Oka in Akoko South West local government area of Ondo state by the men of the Ondo State Police Command that involved involved three different communities in the area.
The clash which claimed two lives on Sunday night.,and turned the entire affected areas to ghost towns
Wilfred Afolabi, the Commissioner of Police in the state disclosed this when he led top police officials to the affected communities.
The affected communities are Owaki, Ebo and Oka -odo
Mostly affected by the clash is Oka-odo where some buildings were razed and property destroyed.
According to the police commissioner, who said that his men should be commended for their swift intervention in the affected areas.
He frankly said that those arrested would be made to face the full weight of the law.
