…as He Promises To Construct Additional Flying – Over Bridges In Akure
The governor of Ondo state, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has promised to assign duties to the teachers employed last year to the service of the state
Aiyedatiwa made the promise during the world press conference to mark his inauguration at the Araromi seaside, Ilaje local government area of the state on Saturday.
The governor who was fielding questions posed to him by journalists said that he intentionally brought the occasion to the place to showcase the entire world the natural resources bestowed on the state that are due for tapping.
According to him,
“
Ondo state has the largest coastal line in the country of about 73 kilometers with rich Cultural heritage
” we appeal to investors to come to the state to join hands with the already committed investors who will start working two weeks time”
On the issue of the teachers, they will start working in few days time
” the 2000 teachers employed last year by the state government will be assigned duties in days time , he said
While talking on infrastructural development, he said Akure, the state capital will witness another flying over bridge after completing the Onyearugbulem -Shagari road project.
He said all arrangements have been concluded with the contractor handling the project to go back to site and deliver the work within the next hundred days of his administration which will kick start from Monday, 24th February, 2024.
The Inauguration was interactive, witnessed cultural display.
