CP WILFRED OLUTOKUNBO AFOLABI PARTNERS WITH LOCAL SECURITY TO COMBAT CRIME
The Commissioner of Police, CP Wilfred Olutokunbo Afolabi, psc+, mnips, today met with local hunters and other neighborhood security groups within Akure and its environs.
The meeting, held at the Police Officers’ Mess in Akure, focused on strengthening collaboration between the Police and local security outfits to ensure crime is eradicated across various communities in the State.
Present at the meeting were members of the Oodua People’s Congress (OPC), Nigeria Forest Security Service (NFSS) Local Hunters, Vigilante groups, and other security outfits.
The stakeholders expressed their commitment and readiness to work with the Command in ridding the State of all forms of crime and criminality.
