However, “he refused and instead insulted me, threatening to beat me up. The situation escalated, and we got into a physical altercation. During the scuffle, he bit my ear, causing an injury that required immediate medical attention.”

According to an aide who spoke on behalf of the monarch on the condition of anonymity, “the community leader took advantage of his relationship with a high-ranking state government official to commit this taboo. The aide described the incident as a premeditated attempt to embarrass and humiliate me.

“The incident has sparked widespread outrage and protests in the community, with traditionalists, youths, and women demanding justice and calling for the community leader to be held accountable.

“The monarch is recovering from the physical and emotional trauma inflicted upon him.”

The Aide urged the authorities to take immediate action to address this incident and ensure that the community leader is brought to justice.

“As a traditional ruler, I will not let this incident go unchallenged. I will work with the relevant authorities to ensure that the dignity of the traditional institution is upheld and respected.”

Report says there is a protest in the community over the incident.

The Aide said, “the community has been rocked by this incident, with many calling for the community leader to apologize and make amends. The protesters, including traditionalists, youths, and women, have taken to the streets, demanding justice and respect for the traditional institution.

“The women even went as far as walking half-naked through the town, a sign of their outrage and disgust at the community leader’s actions.”
