All is set for the Global Pest Management Conference 2025, scheduled to take place at the prestigious Lagos Marriott Hotel, Ikeja, where dignitaries from across the globe will converge.
Among the notable guests expected are Mr. Seyi Tinubu, son of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Executive Governor of Lagos State, His Excellency Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu. Both will be honouring an illustrious son of Akure and renowned industrialist and key figure in Pest Control, Mr. Ayodeji Oluleye, with their presence.
The conference, themed “Advancing Public Health Through Sustainable Pest and Vector Management Practices,” aims to deepen public understanding of modern pest control innovations and their critical role in safeguarding public health.
The keynote address will be delivered by Prof. Akin Abayomi, Lagos State Commissioner for Health. Other prominent speakers include Charlotte Lee, an international expert in vector management, and Prof. Adetoun Mustapha of Imperial College London, among several others.
The conference opens on Thursday, 24th July 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
