The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has described its governorship election victory at the highest legal gamut as the final endorsement of the people’s mandate.

Chairman of the chapter, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, congratulates the Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, his deputy, His Excellency, Dr. Olade Adelamin, Mni, party chieftains, and the good people of the Sunshine State on the victory.

The party further commends roles of the judiciary, the Independent National Electoral Commission, and security agencies while the case lasted.

The Supreme Court on Wednesday thrashed out the cases filed by three political parties that objected APC victory at the polls. The three parties led by the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Hon. Agboola Ajayi Alfred, who withdrew his case at the apex court. The other two are the Social Democratic Party, and Allied People’s Movement.

The state chapter urged the three political parties to put the defeat behind them and support the efforts of the governor Aiyedatiwa-led government to reconstruct various sectors, aimed at boosting the economy.
