The Council of Education Secretaries in Ondo State has lauded the recent judgement of the Supreme Court on governorship election in the state, describing it as a challenge for more dividends of democracy.

The council congratulates the governor, His Excellency, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, and deputy, His Excellency, Dr. Olaide Adelamin, party Chairman, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, and all party stalwarts on the resounding victory.

Chairman of the body, Dr. Omololu Adedini, said, “Now that the legal tussle which has been a form of distraction is laid to rest, Mr. Governor can now concentrate fully on governance”.

Omololu appealed to political gladiators and other well-meaning leaders in the Sunshine State to support the current administration in its efforts to transform various sectors, particularly education.

The secretaries further called on players in the education sector to be more proactive in their different assignments, to justify the investment of the current administration in the sector.
