Parents and Pupils of L.A(1) primary school , Opopoola Street, behind Ondo state Sports stadium ,Akure have enjoined the state government ,to as a matter of urgency attend to the dilapidated state of the school including the classrooms.
The ceilings in the classrooms have caved-in to a level that , the teachers and the pupils are in pulpable fear ,so as not to record any casualty.
When our reporter visited the school , the condition as at the time of filing this report was so scary and terrible.
However, there is no traces or hope of when the school will be attended to ,or when the classrooms will undergo total repair.
Parents are therefore calling on the governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa to visit the school and see to what the pupils are passing through most especially during this raining season that all the classes are flooded as a result of bad situation the school and the classes are.
Teachers and pupils of the school on frequent basis have been having encounter with reptiles like snakes as a result of the dilapidated nature of the classrooms and even the school as a whole. The classes have grown weeds due to the neglect done on the caved in ceilings of the classrooms.
