The Ondo state chapter of the Inter Party Advisory Council IPAC has voted Mr Alex Adeniyi as the new Chairman of the Committee in ondo state.
Alex Adeniyi who was massively supported and voted to be the Chairman for the next two years and eligible to re contest if so desire.
However, every other positions were freely contested without opposition except that of the secretary which has Pastor Peter Olagookun and Hon Akintoye Collenous.
Pastor Peter Olagoogun scored 2 votes while Hon Akintoye Corneous Scored 10.
While giving his acceptance speech , the Chairman Comrade Alex Adeniyi appreciated all that have supported the success of the election,promised joining hands to move the entire political landscape of the state forward
He also said that the pressure group will not be disappointed all stakeholders during his tenure and that the group will enjoy maximum peace.
He promised the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC that, they will work together to have a free , fair and credible election in the state.
” i sincerely want to appreciate all and sundry who have participated to the success of the election
” i promise to join hands with all relevant authorities in moving the state forward which we shall all enjoy maximum peace at the end” Adeniyi said
Meanwhile Barr Oluseye Judges was unilaterally accepted in a motion moved by the whole House in his absence.
The Election was conducted at the Premises of Independent National Electoral Commission Headquarters in Akure, the state capital under the supervision of the Administrative Secretary of Inec ,Olori Adenike and Mallam Olutoye with other staff of the Committee
The oath of office was taking by the newly elected officers at the INEC premises and were all sworn -in accordingly to their respective offices
Hon Allen Sowore , the Special Adviser to Gov Aiyedatiwa on Communication and Strategy and Barr Fadesola Ojamomi, Special Adviser to Gov on Inter party Affairs graced the epoch making event.
